New Publication Featuring BioValue Research!

We are pleased to announce the publication of a new book that brings together cutting-edge research on the future of global agri-food systems. Addressing the complex challenges posed by climate change, shifting consumer preferences, sustainability demands, and economic uncertainty, this volume presents a diverse set of studies aimed at guiding long-term resilience and equity in the sector.

Several chapters are grounded in research conducted within the BioValue project, contributing insights on:

  • The role of sustainable consumption in shaping EU food supply chains
  • Collaborative resilience strategies within the Scottish pig industry during Brexit and COVID-19
  • Wine tourism as a driver of sustainable rural development
  • Water governance and resource sustainability in African watersheds
  • The adoption of Triple Bottom Line approaches in Spain’s fresh produce sector
  • Food safety practices and consumer trust among small-scale dairy farms in Hungary

Together, these contributions underline the importance of innovation, cross-sector collaboration, and evidence-based policymaking to address climate change and ensure global food security.

This publication represents an important milestone for BioValue, demonstrating how the project’s findings support the transformation toward more sustainable and resilient agri-food systems.
