The Live Value-chain Stakeholders’ Forum went online!
We have great news to share with everyone involved in the agri-food value chain. Our Live Value-chain Stakeholders’ Forum is up and fully operative.
The main target of this Forum is to facilitate networking, knowledge exchange and interaction amongst the members of the agri-food value chain. Members of the Forum will have the opportunity to assess research-based information regarding the value chains. This information will be used to complete the set of normative scenarios for each value chain segment of BioValue. The idea is to incorporate the views of farmers, processors, wholesalers and retailers, decision-makers, and researchers at one place and directly integrate their valuable feedback into the research activities of BioValue.
Furthermore, the Forum is responsible to assess and give feedback on the applicability of the findings produced with the help of the BioValue tool. For this purpose, the forum has various functions such as direct discussion, conducting polls, creating personal profiles for members, different levels of membership and public-private dialogues with participation of all the players of the value chains.
