During the 14th European Conference on Precision Agriculture (ECPA), a side event was scheduled on 5 July to talk about the European projects of our partner Confagricoltura, during which our e project was also presented by Luca Mulazzani.
The 14th European Conference on Precision Agriculture presented the results of ongoing research and applications in precision agriculture. Organized under the auspices of the International Society of Precision Agriculture (ISPA), by the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences of the University of Bologna, the ECPA sessions presented Precision Agriculture from the point of view of scientists, agronomic consultants, consultants, popularizers, agronomists, producers and other professionals.
This was an excellent opportunity to showcase our project among this great number of agricultural stakeholders of different disciplines. We presented BioValue´s specific objectives, our research approach, and our polit cases focusing on grains and vegetables. Finally, the analysis of interlinkages among value chain agents was also discussed using the example of the value chain of lentils in Italy.
We are excited about the positive feedback we received and are motivated to continue our efforts in improving agrobiodiversity across the whole food sector.
Stay tuned for more updates on BioValue and our contribution to the world of precision agriculture!
